Social Media Strategy

 

We will be focusing on the Facebook and Instagram platforms heavily.

 

Each post will consist of a templated branded images and will include:

  • Event Details (Date, Time, Etc.)
  • Registration Page
  • Donation (Give) Link
  • Promotional Efforts (e.g. raffles, giveaways, etc.)

 

Per Edy and Norma's goals, we will have two campaigns, both focusing on specific functions.

Strategy 1: Promotional Event Marketing

This strategy will focus on promoting registration to the event. We will be posting 2x-3x per week, following market research "best times to post by platform" findings:

 

Posts

Facebook Posting

Best times: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Best days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

 

Instagram Posting

Best times: Tuesday 11 a.m.–2 p.m., Monday through Friday 11 a.m.
Best day: Tuesday

 

We will use a dynamic posting scheme that takes the above data into account. In simpler terms, we will be posting on different days and times that fall within the "best times/days to post". Our vision in doing this is to offset our posts in hopes that we give all of our patrons an opportunity to see these posts.

 

Stories

We will post a story series 1x per week on Tuesdays or Wednsdays between 11 AM to 2 PM. The Story look and feel will vary, and we will take creative liberty when creating, but we will send you the previews for approval. We will only make small revisions to these stories.

 

All Posts and Stories will use your official Style Guide as a design reference point.

 

Strategy 2: Event Countdown

This strategy will focus on counting down the days to the event, starting 12 days out (Tuesday, October 12th, 2021). We will be posting 2x/day for 12 days.

This strategy is designed to build excitement for the event. We will utilize both Posts and Stories - In this case, they will mimic each other.

 

 

Day of event: We will be posting all day on October 23rd, 2021. We will begin posting hourly from 9 AM till the event time (6 PM). We will also include a final EVENT PREMIER post at the start time.

  1. Promote PCC.
  2. Highlight Real-life testimonies of people you have impacted.

  4. Help potential donors identify as heroes amongst their community. If they can associate where their donations are being spent, they are more likely to give big.
